The Neuromodulation Laboratory (NeuLab) uses neuromodulation techniques to understand the neural basis of cognitive and affective processes in normal and abnormal populations, and to investigate the possibility of enhancing mental skills. The laboratory is equipped with a E.M.S. transcranial Electric Stimulation (tES) system.

In particular, the NeuLab aims to:

  1. Run experiments to understand the functional role of brain areas and circuits;
  2. Run experiments to enhance brain activity and mental skills;
  3. Promote the dissemination of results and methods developed within the laboratory;
  4. Promote a scientifically based vision of the potential of electrostimulation techniques.

The laboratory is situated in the Department of Psychology and Cognitive Sciences.
