The Laboratory for Clinical Neuroscience (LaNeC) is interested in advancing the knowledge of brain function and structure, along with improving treatments for neurological, neuropsychological and psychiatric disorders.

LaNeC aims to:

  1. Carry out neuropsychological investigations on adult and pediatric brain tumor patients for both clinical and research purposes;
  2. Perform functional and structural magnetic resonance studies for both clinical and research purposes;
  3. Create and exchange knowledge about brain function in normality and pathology, and new methods of neuroscientific investigation and analysis;
  4. Promote the dissemination of results and methods developed within the laboratory.

The lab is located at Protontherapy Unit (APSS) in Via del Desert, 14, Trento, and has neuropsychological tests for adults and children, computer workstations and magnetic resonance imaging to conduct functional and structural experiments.
