The double degree is a joint program established by two or more universities that allows students to attend a part of their career at UniTrento and a part at the partner university, obtaining at the end of the course a title at each university and recognized in the countries involved.

The double degree agreements are stipulated for the individual courses of study and annually the University of Trento allocates funds for scholarships that are usually awarded through a specific call and following a selection.

The Department has stipulated a Double Degree agreement with the Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez in Chile. The agreement offers the possibility of spending one or two semesters at the partner University. Furthermore, students  holding a bachelor’s degree awarded by UniTrento who choose to participate in the programme will obtain, in addition to the Master's double degree, the Chilean qualification to practice as a psychologist.
